Cu Lao Cham is a cluster of islands, it belongs to Tan Hiep commune,Hoi An City,
Quang Nam Province, has been recognized as the World Biosphere Reserve. Cu Lao Cham has eight islands: Hon Lao, Hòn Dai, Hòn Mo, Hon Kho me, Hon Kho con, Hon La, Hon Tai, Hon Ong.
The island is one of the best ecological environment of Vietnam. At present, it is planned that a marine reserve and an eco-tourism zone so the island will be an ideal eco-tourism for you.
Cu Lao Cham is characteristic by cliffs, sandy beaches to the north and south, the highest point on the island is 27meters. It has a longer distance of 1,500 meters with an widest area of 700 square meters and the highest height, close to 7m above sea level. The entire island is surrounded by thousands of colorful rocks and blocks of different shapes. From the mainland, it looks like a great warship. Around the
island, water is always clean and blue. When the tide goes down, on the coast, we can see lots of beautiful shells and corals.
To travel to the Cu Lao Cham, there are 3 ways for you to choose:
Option 1: Fastest but quite expensive, come to Cua Dai,
Hoi An, rent canoes to go to the Cu Lao Cham, takes 15 minutes.
Option 2: In Cua Dai, there is a ship to the island at 9am everyday, about 1 hour
Option 3: In the marina right in the Hoi An ancient town, at 8am everyday, about 2 hours.
