Thua Thien Hue is a province in the Central of Vietnam. It was a capital of many dynasties in Vietnam, the biggest center of education of whole country, a land with many secrets which are waiting for you to explore.
It located 654 km from Hanoi, 627km from Nha Trang and 1.071 km from Ho Chi Minh city. The several months of the year is warm and sunny; flood sometimes appears in May, windy in June, July and August; Strong wind and flood in September, October; flood in November and December is prolonged rain. There are many mountains in the west such as: Dong Ngai (1.774m), Dong Truoi (1.154m), Hoi( 1.666m), Bach Ma (1.444m), Mang (1.708m), Tro Linh(1.207m),etc.
Thua Thien Hue is the big and unique cultural center, it has two world cultural heritages : Hue Citadel City population and Hue court music. Because it was a capital so festival here is divided into two kinds: court festival and folk festival. Court festival reflects activities of royal. Folk festival is more diversity, typically, Hue Nam festival in Hon Chen temple or known as processing ceremony the godness Thien Y A Na according to belief of Champa people, commemoration of the birth of those who created the traditional crafts, commemoration of the birth of those who created the villages. And, the big event - Festival Hue is held every two year to honor heritages of Hue. In those occasion, many cultural activities are held such as: boat racing, wrestling, etc.

Small mussel with dried bamboo shoot and sliced pork, the dish " Mussel Rice" will bring for you a simple dish and special flavor. Broth from mussel is taken by a big spoon made from coconut shell, which is poured into a bowl with fully rice, mussel, raw vegetable and other things: chili, grilled rice paper, fried pork skill, fried fat, roasted peanut, roasted sesame seed.
Attracitve with Wet cake barbecue, made from rice flour, filled with sliced bacon, salad and sauce which is the important thing to raise the flavor of the dish. It is made from fish sauce, sugar, garlic, chili, etc. I am guarantee you will like it in the first sight.
Sour shirmp, it made from shrimps living in brackish water, it is washed and soaked in wine for a while, mixed with spices: galangal, garlic, chili, young bamboo shoot, fish sauce. Shrimp is continue soaked in 7 -10 days, it can be buried in ground to keep stable temperature. To enjoy the dish, you must eat it with sliced bacon and pickle.
