Quang Nam, a multicultural land

Quang Nam is a province in the coastal region of South Centralm, it is a land remaining many traces of the Cham culture. It is located right in the midpoint between the North and the South, influenced of two region contributing to Quang Nam rich in cultural identity.



Located about 860km from Hanoi to the north, 865km from Ho Chi Minh city. The north bordering Thua Thien - Hue province and Da Nang city, the south bordering Quang Ngai and Kon Tum province, the west bordering Sekong province of Laos, the east bordering East sea. As the provinces in the Central, located in the tropical climate, Quang Nam has also two seasons:dry and rainy season, sometimes influenced the cold weather of the North.

Traveling here, you can't fail come to Hoi An ancient quarter, it is a historical site, a typical symbol about a traditional port in Southeast Asian in the period of 15th -16th century. My Son Holy Land is the place where remains many traces of the Cham culture, the temples and towers which I am sure they will attract you. Besides, to release your mind, you can come to Cu Lao Cham archipelago which has eight islands or Phu Ninh Lake Ecotourism Zone, Cua Dai beach, Ban Than beach, Ho Thac, Thuan Tinh Ecotourism Zone, Tien stream, Tam Thanh beach, Ong pagoda, Phuoc Lam pagoda, Chuc Thanh pagoda and so on.

The biggest festival in Quang Nam,it is Ba Thu Bon festival which is a traditional festival of the residents along the Thu Bon river with the aim of praying for a peaceful year, happy people. The festival is held on 2/12 of Lunar Calendar every year, you can drop flower garlands and coloured lanterns on the Thu Bon river. In addition, there are other festivals such as: Nguyen Tieu, Moon Night in the ancient quarter, etc. Quang Nam has many traditional villages for you to visit such as: Thanh Ha with pottery making , Kim Bong with woodwork, Phuoc Kieu with bronze casting, Tra Qua vegetable village, Ma Chau with weaving, etc.

The province of Quang Nam has also some gifts for you, they can be listed: Tam Ky Rice and Chicken, Quang Noodle, Salted Green bean cake, Cau Mong grilled veal, Tra Doa sweet potato, Gia Coc rice paper, Viet An rice paper, eel porridge, mixed jackfruit, etc.
