" Culture, Sports and Tourism Week and National Tourism Landscape 2013 with Terrace" is a good opportunity for you to admire the beauty and to own traditional products of Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province.
To prepare for the event taking place from Sep 27th to 29th, People's Committee of the province issued an action plan and assigned specific tasks to each of the participating units. The main contents are opening ceremony, sport congress, highland fair, colors of Tây Bắc, the journey to terrace, mobile movie and community tours. Besides, many other significant activities also take place on this occasion such as: you can drop your soul with paragliding performance in Khau Phạ Pass area, drunk with traditional winemaking, exciting with making ethnic musical instruments,etc. They are arranged right on the way from Tu Le commune(Van Chan district) to the center of Mu Cang Chai district.
The week is the event lying in the sequence of major events to celebrate 55 years on Uncle Ho visited Yen Bai ( 9/25/1958 - 9/25/2013). It is the activity to honor the national landscape - Terrace and the cultural values of the Hmong ethnic, to raise awareness of conservation, to promote the historical values associated with tourism. The week is also the practical activity in response to the World Tourism Day 9/27 and celebrate 56 year establishment of Mu Cang Chai district (10/18/1957 - 10/18/2013)
