| A cultural and tourism event will be held for foreigner community, foreign diplomatic agencies, international students who are living, studying and working in Ho Chi Minh city. It is "Ho Chi Minh city - Our Home" Festival, organized by People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh city from September 10th to 12th, 2013 at Van Thanh tourist area, Binh Thanh district. |

The festival will be divided into five areas, the main point of the festival is the exhibition area " Foreign Affair of Ho Chi Minh - Integration and Development" with many activities such as: Exhibiting images about Foreign Affair of Ho Chi Minh through periods, especially renewal period; Images of Vietnam, Vietnamese people in general Ho Chi Minh people in particular, images of foreigner community who are living, studying and working in Ho Chi Minh city and so on. The other exhibition areas: stage, cultural house of countries, cuisine area and entertainment area, they are not less highlight with activites that is carried out by foreigner community such as: the show " My favourite costume", the cooking contest " Vietnam delicious dishes", the music contest " My favourite song", etc. Moreover, the organizing committee will add some typical boats of the South to perform folk song, folk music, water puppet show, circus, magic, etc.
At the night on September 10th, after taking place the opening ceremony, the leader of Ho Chi Minh city communicate with the union mayor of the tourist cities in downstream area of the MeKong River, the diplomatic missions and international organizations in Ho Chi Minh city. Besides, on the occasion, Ho Chi Minh city will publish 1000 books " Foreign Relations of Ho Chi Minh City in 2013" to introduce to tourists and international friends.
