Ninh Binh - a miniature Vietnam.

Ninh Binh is a wonderful land with many historic sites, beautiful scenes and delicious dishes of course. It was a capital of Vietnam in 10th century, it is considered as a miniature Vietnam. 


Located about 93 kilometers from Hanoi, Ninh Binh is in the humid subtropical climate: Summer is hot and rainy from May to September; Winter is dry and cold from November to March; April is Spring and October is Autumn. The average temperature is 23.5 ° C, the average relative humidity : 80-85 %. 

 Ninh Binh has great tourism potential, many famous landscapes, historic sites such as:
- May Bac Peak has a height of 648 meters.
- The hills in the northwest including districts : Nho Quan, Gia Vien, Hoa Lu, Tam Diep. 
- Four special-use forests: Cuc Phuong, Van Long, Hoa Lu and Kim Son. 
- Marine and coastal area of Ninh Binh was regconized as the World Biosphere Reserve. 
- Two island belonging to Ninh Binh are Con Noi and Con Mo.
- Hoa Lu which was the capital of Vietnam, there are still many monuments palaces, temples, tombs, etc that are related to dynasties.
- Bai Dinh Pagoda is a population including ancient pagoda area and new ancient pagoda with the scale is the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia. 
- Trang An beauty spot with the system of cave, valley, forest and historic sites that are associated with Hoa Lu ancient citadel. 
- Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area with many destination such as: Tam Coc, Thai Vi temple, Bich Dong pagoda, Tien cave, But cave, Hai Nham, bird garden, etc.
- Cuc Phuong National Park is the first national park with an area of 22.000 hectares.
- Phat Diem church is a religious architecture which is harmony between East and West architecture. It is a unique architectural stone.
- Van Long Natural Reserve Area is the largest wetland of North Delta. There are Kenh Ga hot spring, Van Trinh cave, Kem Trong and many other beautiful caves.
- Kim Son - Con Noi coastal area with many ​​tectonic values and outstanding biodiversity globally was listed in list of sites of Red River Delta Biosphere Reserve. 
- Other destinations: Ma Tien cave, Dong Chuong Lake, Non Nuoc mountain, Hoang Long River, Ky Lan mountain, Dong Thai Lake, etc.

Ninh Binh has also specialties for you to fill your stomach such as: Kim Son wine, eel and vermicelli (made of cassava), Tong Truong tilapia, Dong Giao pineapple, elderberry, especially goat meat which is the most special and unique with the flavor of limestone, leaves of this land.
