Travel Plan

For many travelers, they feel regret for the short tour. So, if possible, you should set the program for 3 days and 2 nights to go to remote places and fewer tourists. You go with a large group of friends, family or colleagues, you should hire yacht.


You will be involved in many exciting activities during the trip: The collective activities, cooking contest, visiting floating villages, caves and so on.
You want to have many beautiful memories, you should organize dinner in cave, on floating raft or on romantic beach. I am sure you will never feel regret for this choice.


Weather


European tourists often come to Vietnam in the winter, from December to April, when the weather is about 10-20 degrees because they have vacation on this time. But, the most appropriate weather to visit is in April and May or September and October because of long daylight, blue sky, pleasant weather. So, you can swim, enjoy the morning sunrise or sunset.

License

Currently, Ha Long Bay Management Board tightly controls tour boats or staying boats on the Bay. You can book tour via travel centers to have the necessary information on passports, identity cards before going. The yacht companies will help you register with Immigration Office - Quang Ninh police.


Every day, Port management will be based on specific weather conditions to make decision that yacht is allowed to operate or not. Normally, visiting yacht is licensed at 6:30 am. With yacht overnight on the bay, captain will apply for a license and register accommodation for his yacht.

There are 3 popular anchoring points: Titop area - Luon cave, Lat cave and Trong cave - Dong Tien lake. In case, port management does not allow to stay, you can stay in Ha Long and wait for better weather to continue or tour guide and driver will take you back to Hanoi. In such cases, travel centers will arrange reasonable schedule for you.

Journey

Depending on the conditions of time and budget, you can choose the various itineraries for your self. For yacht visits the bay during day, you can book the program to visit 4, 6 or 8 hours. Most yachts are from Bai Chay wharf and takes about 45 minutes from Bai Chay to popular attractions such as Thien Cung, Dau Go cave, Titop island, etc.


With the yacht overnight, you have plenty of choices: You need private space, you can select individual ships 2 rooms. With friendly staffs and professional services, I guarantee that you will have great experiences.
