Minister Hoang Tuan Anh MOCST official visit to Azerbaijan

At the invitation of the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev and Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov, Minister Hoang Tuan Anh MOCST led a high level delegation MOCST official visit to Vietnam Azerbaijan from 01 until 05/7/2014.

Minister Hoang Tuan Anh and the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan signed cooperation programs

Before the official meeting with the Azerbaijani Minister Hoang Tuan Anh visited, placed flowers at monuments and graves of the late President Heydar Aliyev served - a great friend of President Ho Chi Minh, and a visit memorial flowers of great cultural figures of the Azerbaijan.

This is the first visit of the Minister MOCST Vietnam to Azerbaijan in the history of friendly relations since Vietnam-Azerbaijan Soviet Azerbaijan as well as after the declaration of independence. More particularly, this visit is an important step to implement the contents of collaborative culture, sports and tourism between the two countries has been achieved in the framework of the official visit to Vietnam by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held on 19.05.2014.

In the framework of this visit to Azerbaijan, Minister Hoang Tuan Anh had important talks with the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan as well as with the Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan. At the talks, the two sides affirmed Vietnam and Azerbaijan have traditional ties of friendship was President Ho Chi Minh and late President Heydar Aliyev laid the foundation and development.

At the talks, the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation and cultural tourism, with specific measures to help strengthen bilateral relations. The two sides signed the "Program for Cultural Cooperation between art and MOCST Vietnam Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan". According to this text, in 2015 the two sides will jointly organize Azerbaijani Culture Days in Vietnam and Vietnam Culture Days in Azerbaijan in 2016 with the performing arts activities, art exhibitions, film screenings and tourism promotion programs. In addition, the two sides also agreed to increase the exchange of delegations at all levels, student exchanges as well as facilitate the participation of art troupes, arts and culture festival was held on international territory on either side.

For tourism, the two sides agreed to exchange delegations tourism businesses, unions immediately press the two sides in 2014 to learn, market introduction, tourism potential as well as the report on tourism promotion the mass media of the two countries
