The old spreading dance set the Vietnam record

At the night of Sep 29, at the stadium in the center of Nghia Lo commune, the People's Committee of Nghia Lo town (Yen Bai province) held the announcement ceremony the decision of acceptance the project "Building a culture - tourism town in the period 2013- 2020". The important point in the ceremony is the old spreading dance to set the Vietnam record.
2013 professional actors, local people, artisans of Nghia Lo commune and ethnic instrument orchestra participated the old spreading dance which is the largest scale ever in Nghia Lo town in particular and the whole country in general. During the night, more than 90% of the participant were women of Thai ethnic, the rest were Kinh, Tay, Nung ethnic, staff of the People's Committee of the town. The difference of the dance this time, it is the gathering of the six old spreading dances including "Kham khen" (Holding hands), Nhom khan( bouncing apron), Om lọm tốp mư ( Going in circle and clapping in rhythm), "Đổn hổn" (Stepping forward and back), "Phá xí" ( Seperating into four), "Khắm khăn mơi lảu" ( Raising apron and inviting wine). All six dances were carried out in the old spreading dance.
For Nghia Lo town, the old spreading dance has gone deep into the festivals, the daily cultural life of people here. So, the old spreading dance was performed by Nghia Lo people to invite visitors coming and discovering many interesting things of this land. Also during this time, Nghia Lo town will host many other activities as bullfighting, sport and tours in the local.
