Yen Bai, the gateway of the northwest

Yen Bai is a province located inland, but is the gateway of the northwest, it has many beauty spots which are still pristine, it is an ecology center that is very interesting and waiting for you to discover.

Located 180 km from Hanoi city, the north bordering Lao Cai, Ha Giang province; the southwest bordering Son La province, the east bordering Tuyen Quang province, the south bordering Phu Tho. The  topography of the province consists of mountain, hill and valley . The climate is divided into two regions: lowland and highland.

So, What places in Yen Bai are watiting for you?.

The first place you should admire, they are terraced fields, the color covers all the area that will make you overwhelmed, I am sure, it is very beautiful, it feels like you wish you could lie down on those place.

Mo waterfall, from above, you can see the waterfall as a sparkling white silk stretching approximately 3,000 meters. Stop here, you can feel cool water droplets flying to your face, which makes a great feeling.

Yen Bai has quite many temples for you to visit, they can be listed: Thac Ba, Dai Cai, Nhuoc Son, Dong Cuong, Tuan Quan.

Thac Ba lake, one of the three largest artificial lakes and it is known as the eco-tourism attraction. The lake has over 1300 small and big islands creating many caves and beauty spots.


Na Hau Natural Protected Area, beautiful and attractive, located in the thousands of hectares of primary forests that make the area become more glorious and mysterious.


Thuan Bac lake Ecotourism Zone, 5km from the center of Yen Bai province, a good place for resort, you can rest, fishing, rowing around the lake or visiting the litchi farm.
To serve your stomach after or during the trip, you can enjoy special products in this area such as: Tam Hoa plum, wild apple, wild apple wine, purple sweet potato, Bat Do bamboo shoot, Van Yen cinnamon, Dai Minh grapefruit, Van Chan orange, Snow Tea of Giang Stream, Tu Le cooked stick rice, five colors cooked sticky rice,etc.
