On August 27th, Ho Chi Minh Museum held a giving - receiving artifacts ceremony of the Late President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of 68 years of the August Revolution, the National Day (September 2nd) and 44 years of implementation of the President Ho Chi Minh's testament. |
At the ceremony, the museum received 229 artifacts, documents, images from 21 persons and groups, including some original artifacts that is related to Ho Chi Minh. They are things that people love and keep as treasures to express emotion, appreciation to the great man of Vietnamese people in particular and the world in general. Some typical artifacts such as: Hero pen - the president Ho Chi Minh gave Mr. Le Minh Duc who is Deputy Director of Vietnam Railway Administration in 1958, five paintings about Portrait of Ho Chi Minh which were drawn by Mr.Vo Huy Quang and inmates in Con Dao prison from 5/19/1964 to 9/2/1971 and so many other artifacts.
Besides, Ho Chi Minh Museum also showed over 300 images and documents about those who learn and do follow his ethic; over 100 documents, artifacts, images about shrines that worship Ho Chi Minh, they are places where the government and people of the South expresses their love to him.
