Travel to Hanoi: The Huc bridge – Ngoc Son temple – But tower – Nghien stage tower

In the 21st century, there is a Hanoi that is changing every day, bustling and developmental. There is also a Hanoi that is still hard to preserve the nation's cultural elite. Nearly a thousand years ago, the relics still located on a pristine sand dunes of Nhi Ha river( Red river). In the Tran dynasty, in that sand dunes, there is the temple of the heroic martyrs who died in the war against the Mongolian - Nguyen invaders. But, through the war, the temple was ruined. Until the time of Trinh Giang lord, he built Khanh Thuy palace on Ngoc island in order to entertain. In 1786, Khanh Thuy palace was burned by Le Chieu Thong. First shrine worships Quan Cong, main shrine worships Van Xuong and the last shrine worships Tran Hung Dao. In addition, the temple also worships Buddha, this things expresses the conception of co-existing three religions of the ancient Vietnamese.

The bridge is paved by wood and painted dark red, yellow word. The Huc bridge leads to the Ngoc Son temple, also known as Dac Nguyet multi-storied house is hidden in the shadow of banyan tree.


Dac Nguyet multi- storied house is a two-story bell tower, architecture as Khue Van Cac in Van Mieu- Quoc Tu Giam. Dac Nguyet has pictures of dragon and turtle with precious sword sides and parallel sentences represent for a white heart of talented people of North land.


South of Ngoc Son Temple is Tran Ba Dinh. That name means: against waves of malicious culture. Stone tablet of Ngoc Son temple wrote: " the new temple was completed, Tran Ba Dinh is in front with implies is pillars stand between cultural waves"
Tran Ba Dinh is square, was built in the style of two floors with 8 columns support, four stone columns outside, four wood columns inside.
