Nearly a thousand years ago, the relics still located on a pristine sand dunes of Nhi Ha river( Red river). In the Tran dynasty, in that sand dunes, there is the temple of the heroic martyrs who died in the war against the Mongolian - Nguyen invaders. But, through the war, the temple was ruined. Until the time of Trinh Giang lord, he built Khanh Thuy palace on Ngoc island in order to entertain. In 1786, Khanh Thuy palace was burned by Le Chieu Thong.
